From Humble Beginnings to Building a Trusted Construction Company

J CO CONTRACTING & RENOVATION INC. was built on hard work, determination, and a shared commitment to quality. What began with small handyman projects has grown into a licensed general contracting business serving homeowners, property managers, commercial clients, and communities throughout Riverside, San Bernardino Counties and surrounding areas.

Maria Oregel | Owner & CEO | Licensed General Contractor

Maria Oregel leads business development, client relations, contract administration, and company growth at J CO CONTRACTING & RENOVATION INC. As a licensed general contractor and experienced educational administrator, she brings a distinctive combination of hands-on construction knowledge, business leadership, facilities oversight, and operational management to the company. Her construction experience and ability to coordinate multiple trades support quality workmanship and successful project outcomes.

Throughout her career in school administration, Maria oversaw facilities, safety planning, site operations, and performance benchmarks while coordinating staff, resources, and campus priorities. This experience strengthened her ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accountability, coordinate stakeholders, and support safe, well-managed environments. She applies these leadership and organizational skills to construction project coordination, client relationships, business operations, and the company's continued growth across residential, commercial, multifamily, and public-sector markets.

Jose Carlos Oregel | Operations Manager

Carlos brings extensive hands-on construction experience across multiple trades, including concrete work, welding, remodeling, renovation, finish carpentry, and rough carpentry. His practical understanding of construction methods and job-site operations contributes to project coordination, scheduling, field operations, and quality control. His versatility across multiple phases of construction supports efficient project execution, skilled workmanship, and dependable results.

Together, Maria and Carlos bring more than 30 years of combined construction experience to J CO CONTRACTING & RENOVATION INC. Their complementary strengths combine hands-on trade knowledge, business leadership, and operational management to support residential and commercial remodeling, multifamily renovations, restoration, tenant improvements, and facility maintenance.
